Our Little Flower...

about to turn 4...her friends joined us for a (early) celebration of flowers, butterflies and cupcakes galore! the week's rain, gave way for sunshine, a bouncy castle, a sweet clown who painted the girls' faces like the most beautiful butterflies and some fun crafts - straw hat decorating with flowers and butterflies as well as pink wooden door hangers (shaped like flowers and butterflies) that the girls decorated with bling and stickers. Yummy cupcakes and pudding dirt cups along with pink lemonade were a hit. We wrapped up with a game of pin the cherry on the cupcake and some really fun favors. It was a great day!

Off to Camp...

Hope you are having a ball at Camp honey...I thought my heart might burst yesterday as we said "good-bye" for the week - you were sooo excited...excited to see Max and Jack, thrilled you have the top bunk, excited "Mr. Bobby" was back as your Counselor, excited to swim in the Lake, excited to have your "own" account at the store (where you will promptly buy Rootbeer and a Twix bar and nobody tells you "no"),excited to see old buddies, excited to do Archery, make smores and play basketball...play tennis and go hiking. Daddy and I are so proud of you and your sense of adventure! We love and miss you!

We're getting ready...another Summer at Camp! This year Campbell will be going for 6 nights/7 days...he wanted to go for "Super" week this Summer, 11 days, ummmm, no way, Momma would miss you too much baby boy! He is so excited...I think half the excitement is just getting ready - you remember?...the flashlight, the books, the bugspray, the sleeping bag and, are you ready the DEODORANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course he might actually need it beacuse last year he never showered in 4 days, gross! He loved it....IT was funny. my mom thought It was weird!! (Campbell - guest post)...so we are busy preparing and picking activities, Camp is such a right of passage and so much fun! Some of my greatest memories were made as a young girl at Summer camp. This is his cabin picture from last Summer, Mr. Bobby was so cute! Can't wait to ahre the pics and stories after his big week!

Fun Flips

I've been busy making Charlotte her Summer flips...so easy and cute! These were a pair I made to go with all her Disney outfits when we visited. I have made pink and green and purple and yellow too! Watch the HL sales for 50% off flips, they end-up being like $2, buy lots of ribbons, make fun bows and tie or hot glue - Voila! They make the outfit!

Today was a great "summer " day...and here is why...

because its Thursday (I love Thursdays b/c of the anticipation of Friday)

Cam had a great 1st day of Sports Mini Camp

I got loads of garage sale goodies

I was showered and dressed early

A lunch picnic with the kids

The perfect cup of coffee and really hot

and last but not least..."she" is all better and I am blogging again - yea!

Sick...

She's a little under the weather...so my posts and pictures are limited...looking forward to catching-up with you again soon. In the meantime, my friend Gindy and I are sooo excited to be meeting Eddie and Jaithan (www.eddieross.com) Saturday for a great day of flea market shopping! Can't wait!
